A place to pause and linger

Challenge

From the very beginning, the challenge was to present the small brooches with the relics in such a way that they inspire and enrich a contemplative devotion.

Approach

We first developed several proposals, discussed them with the client, and then chose this version based on material and cost considerations.

Materials, Processing, Special Features in Detail

Hammered tombac sheet, burnished and oiled. Photo prints on linen, atmospheric lighting with an LED spotlight, and gold leaf gilding.

The Finished Solution / Product

The result is a contemplative sacred installation that invites reflection.

“With the help of an artist, we wanted to create a worthy place in the chapel for the images and relics of our two beatified founders – and it was absolutely worth it.”

Sister Edyta G.Head of the Salvatorian Sisters, Merano

“The realization required not only attention to detail in the metalwork, but also in the photos, the glass panes, the gilding, and above all the overall sense of dignity and harmony.”
