To meet the versatile requirements, a special combination was chosen: conical columns made of a mix of materials (stainless steel and weathering steel) arranged in a pentagon, staggered in height, surrounding a stainless steel basin. Just as people gather around the fountain, the design itself invites interaction.
An eye-catcher for hikers and athletes
Challenge
The challenge was to design a drinking facility for both people and animals, while also making it possible to wash hands and hair. Due to the large number of visitors, a single water spout was not enough.
